What To Do

"The Wharf"

Recently redeveloped, the area where the hotel room blocks are located, dubbed "The Wharf", sits on the banks of the Potomac River for all guests to enjoy waterfront views and provides a myriad of different restaurants, shopping and is just a quick, 5-10 minute walk to the National Mall and Monuments.

We're excited to consider this our home base for the weekend and hope that everyone takes some time to enjoy all that the Nation's Capital has to offer!

Restaurants and Bars

While The Wharf offers plenty of options for everyone, if you're looking to explore the city more, be sure to check out some of these notable spots that are D.C. staples:

Circa at Chinatown
- Great spot for Friday night dinner or brunch on Saturday morning
- Make Katherine jealous by getting the avacado toast - her favorite in the city

Clyde's Gallery Place
- A true D.C. classic
- Just across the street from where Katherine and Bob met!

Ted's Bulletin Capitol Hill
- Upscale diner serving boozy milkshakes
- Don't come back without bringing Bob one of their homemade pop-tarts

Bluejacket
- Brewery serving a great selection of craft beers

Timber Pizza
- Started by a friend of Katherine and Bob's
- Voted 2017 "Best Pizza We Ate" by Bon Appetit Magazine

National Zoo

Say hello to Giant Pandas, Tian Tian, Mei Xiang and Bei Bei, or, if you're lucky see the orangutans climb the o-line right above your head!
